நான் சென்ற October மாதம் பள்ளிக் குழந்தைகள் வசதியாக பள்ளிக்கு சென்று வர ஏதுவான சில வழி வகைகளை பற்றி "சிந்திப்போம்" என்ற தலைப்பில் ஒரு கட்டுரையை பதிவு செய்திருந்தேன்.
அதே பதிவை நான் பணி புரியும் நிறுவனத்தின் உள் வலைப்பூவில் (Office Internal Blog ) பதிவு செய்தபோது என் நண்பர்கள் பல நல்ல யோசனைகளை பின்னூட்டங்களில் பரிந்துரைத்திருந்தார்கள். தொடர்ந்து சில நாட்களில் என் கோரிக்கையும் நிறைவேறியது. அந்த நற்செய்தியை என் மதிப்பிற்குரிய அண்ணன் ஜோன்சன் அவர்கள் தன்னுடைய வலைப்பூவில் பதிவு செய்திருந்தார்.

When I opened today’s newspaper, there was a surprise - a long term expectation was fulfilled (partially).

என்ற இடுகையில் என் அன்புத் தங்கச்சி ‘தர்மலட்சுமி’//தினமும் காலை நேரங்களில் (விடுமுறை நாட்கள் தவிர) பள்ளி செல்லும் குழந்தைகளுக்கு என்று தனியாக பேரூந்துகளை இயக்கலாம்.// என்ற ஒரு கோரிக்கையை முன்மொழிந்திருந்தாள். (தன் கோரிக்கை நிறைவேறும் வரை புது போஸ்ட் போடப்போவதில்லை என்று உறுதிமொழி ஏதும் எடுத்திருந்தாளா என்று தெரியவில்லை!!, அதான் கோரிக்கை நிறைவேறியாச்சில்ல, புது போஸ்ட் போடலாம்ல! ).
இதுபோன்று ஏற்கெனவே பலரும் எதிர்பார்த்துக்கொண்டிருந்த இந்த விசயம் இப்போது நடைமுறைக்கு வந்துவிட்டது. தாமதமாக வந்தாலும், வரவேற்கப்பட வேண்டிய ஒரு நல்ல விசயம். ”நான் அவஸ்தைப் பட்டதுபோல், இப்போதுள்ள சிறுவர்கள் நெரிசலில் சிக்கவேண்டாம்” என்று நீங்களெல்லாம் நினைத்து மகிழ்ந்துகொள்ளலாம்.

பிரச்சினை சரிதான். தீர்வுதான் தப்புனு தோணுச்சு. பேருந்துகளின் எண்ணிக்கையை அதிகப்படுத்தினாலே எல்லா பிரச்சினைகளும் தீர்ந்துவிடும் என்று தோன்றுகிறது.
நான் குழம்பிய இன்னொரு விஷயம், பெண்கள் இருக்கையில் ஆண்கள் அமர்ந்திருந்தால் நாங்கள் எழுந்து இடம் கொடுக்க வேண்டியிருக்கிறது. ஆண்கள் இருக்கையில் அமர்ந்திருக்கும் எந்தப்பெண்ணாவது இதுவரை எழுந்து இடம் கொடுத்திருக்கிறீர்களா?

I got a wonderful opportunity to spend some 90 mins with Dr.Abdul Kalaam a year back. I spoke to him about this. Everyone over there suggested the same thing as you said.

Dharma.. Govt to allocate separate buses for school childrens in the morning time is not possible as of now. Rather we have seen stickers in the buses like seat reserved for senior citizens and differently abled people. Like wise can make message to public as to leave seat for school childrens when they are in bus.
Lots of people are pasting some adds and other stickers in buses to pass messages to public. We can use it to pass the message "Leave Space for young INDIANS"........

@Dinesh-- This is good idea...but my concern is about the children, i afraid if they use this privileage as taking for granted..two possibilities are here,
1. Children might take it in a way tht, they are specially treated.This is goes in over dosage might stop them in putting their efforts till they succeed in what they want.
2. Other possibility is, they might take it a way that they are under privileaged(though this is the worst scenario and chances are seemigly less)
I might be wrong.. but my only concern is every thing should reach children in right way, As what they receive today matters a lot in moulding them..

Our People will leave space only for school kids who are deserving and difficult to travel and struggling lot with their schools bags n sisters\brothers..
There are lots of kids who whom goes to school together with their sister or brother. Recently some where in a magazine I read that a brother n sister going to school. Sister got into the bus some how and the boy cant able to get into the bus and he got into the Bus tyre and passed on .. Sister came to know only after reaching the school. This happened in chennai near tambaram.
Leave space for futute INDIANS will defintely help to those such peoples.

superb line ..do u think how many of them aware of this situations in our India and we very well know eventhough they experience such things personally ,none will be ready to find a solution for this ..our society is built up like tat ..
This is really a very good effort from your part to create awareness among our people (cognizant) which should be spreaded all over India thro mails and messages so that asap we'll hope that in buses we can see our YOUNG INDIANS seated happily with their books in hand instead of lunch and school bags..

ஆண்களுக்கு என்று தனியாக இடம் கிடையாது என்பதைப் புரிந்துகொள்ளவும். அது பொது. அங்கு பெண்களும் அமரலாம். ஆனால், பெண்களுக்கு என்று இருப்பதானது, ஒதுக்கப்பட்ட இருக்கைகள்!
மிக நல்ல இடுகை. இதுபற்றி இன்னும் நிறையபேர் பேசவேண்டும். அப்போதுதான் அரசாங்கத்தில் ஏதாவது செய்வார்கள்.

அருமையான பதிவு. அப்படியே பள்ளிகளையும் அதிகப்படுத்தலாம்; இருக்கும் பள்ளிகளை தரமுயர்த்தலாம். பள்ளி அருகில் இல்லாமலும், தரமான பள்ளிகளை தேடி பயணிப்பதையும் குறைக்கலாம்.
